Hello! I’m Calyta Kim, a freelancer artist, illustrator, and drawing teacher from Brazil. Calyta is, actually, the name of this cute pink demon character I’ve created and use to represent myself. I also use other names, such as Rin-Chan and TalJi.

I’ve been drawing since I was very young, but I started illustrating properly when I was a teenager. My main artistic influences are comics, cats, mysticism, Vocaloid and Japanese culture. Composing music and animation are some of my other hobbies. Although I’m still not that good at these things, I still always strive to do my best!

I find picking a single art style to work with very difficult, though in general I enjoy playing around with bright colors, shapes, and high contrast.

I like to share everything I’ve learned, and so I hope to develop more methods and skills to help as many people as I can in the future!
